Mooska Farm Adventure Trips and Smoke Sauna

We will introduce you to our farm and our smoke saunas and smoke sauna heritage, we will offer you traditional food and meat smoked in the smoke sauna, we will move and breathe hand-in-hand with nature.

On Mooska's experience tours, participants will get to know the local heritage culture in more depth: the UNESCO-protected smoke sauna and related traditions, the traditional smoking of meat in the sauna and in the ground cooking pit in summer.

The South Estonian way of life connected to nature and sense of nature will be experienced by the participants, mediated by an experienced guide, on a nature hike to Vällamägi or Tsiamägi hills. Breathing exercises, orienteering games, Nordic walking and bog and snow shoeing hikes are an added value.

The best group size is up to 12 people, larger groups upon agreement. The difficulty and duration of the trail and the catering will be agreed before the hike.

The smoke sauna, renovated from an old sauna, is comfortable for about 10 guests. The sauna is located by the pond, where you can cool off in the ice hole in winter. 

In addition, Mooska Farm has a new smoke sauna built in 2012 for smoking meat. You can buy the smoked meat from the farm, it is usually ready by 4 PM on Friday.
