Ahja Matkad

Canoeing on Estonian rivers.

Early spring canoeing on the fast-flowing rivers of South Estonia and the floodplain of Soomaa National Park, late spring canoeing on the upper Võhandu and the Kooraste chained lakes, summer and autumn canoeing wherever there is enough water.
We'll come where there are people interested and a body of water to canoe on. Families with children, groups of friends, corporate groups are welcome. We organise trips for two people as well as for large groups. We can find accommodation and/or a sauna if necessary.
All participants will be provided with a thorough training before the trip and a shore service during the trip. If necessary or at the request of the client, a guide will accompany the group.

We have experience in organizing canoe trips since 1997.

The trip of Ahja Matkad called "Summer night canoeing on the Ahja River" is recognised with the EHE (Genuine and Interesting Estonia) eco-tourism quality label.
