Viscosa Kultuuritehas (Viscosa Cultural Factory) creates new kinds of experiences, offering not just entertainment, but meaningful moments that truly touch people. Throughout history – from a viscose factory to a fish industry and now a cultural centre – Viscosa has always brought people together.

  • Theatre Hall. The Siidisaal (Silk Hall) is a black box–style hall with natural stone walls and a strong character. Depending on the stage setup, it can host up to 200 guests. The authentic industrial setting creates a powerful atmosphere for both professional conferences and inspiring cultural events. The hall is equipped with modern sound, lighting, and video systems. It is suitable for intimate acoustic concerts as well as festival-scale events

  • Venue rental. Viscosa offers a variety of spaces for team events, conferences, seminars, and corporate parties — both one-day and multi-day events. Available spaces include: A conference hall with presentation equipment (200 seats, opening summer 2026); The 1,150 m² gallery hall “Katedraal” with sound and lighting equipment (up to 700 person); An open office space for conference calls and presentations (up to 20 person); Art Café with sound and lighting equipment (up to 200 person).
  • Accommodation is available in a hostel-style guesthouse. In summer 2026, a 19-room hotel will open its doors.
  • The pump track offers active and fun experiences for the whole family. Young children can safely practice with balance bikes, while more experienced riders can use scooters or BMX bikes. Skilled riders can enjoy skateboarding or rollerblading. During the summer season, bike rental is available on site.
  • Catering. From autumn to spring, guests are welcomed to a cosy café located in the guesthouse Utoopia nr 9. Its stylish rooms can also be rented for birthdays, gatherings, and special occasions. During summer, Art Café is open, offering a menu inspired by local Hiiumaa ingredients, with a touch of wild creativity. The café also hosts art exhibitions and cultural events, creating a rich and memorable experience.
  • Art. Viscosa offers exhibition opportunities for both large-scale and smaller artworks in its unique halls, known for their impressive size and atmosphere.

Hotel (19 room)

In July 2026, a new 38-bed hotel will open at Viscosa Cultural Factory.
This modern hotel offers an experience shaped by high ceilings, industrial architecture, and bright, open spaces — feeling more like an art gallery than a traditional place to stay.
The hotel has 19 double rooms, each with a private bathroom.
Price: Standard double or twin room with breakfast – 110€/per night.

Guesthouse "Utoopia nr 9" (19 room)

The guesthouse is located in a historic manor distillery building and is surrounded by protected nature areas. From the windows of the heritage-listed, minimalist building, you can enjoy views over Kirikulaht Bay.

  • The guesthouse has 19 rooms with a total of 42 beds (extra beds available). Toilets and shower facilities are shared between rooms.
  • In summer, up to 80 guests can stay in the sea-view glamping area next to the guesthouse.
  • On the ground floor, there is a restaurant-bar serving breakfast.
  • Sauna rental is available for an additional fee.

Price: 85€/per night.
NB! From autumn to spring, accommodation in the guesthouse is available only for group bookings.
