Tõrvaaugu Organic Farm

In 1995, our family discovered a mystical place – Tõrvaaugu Farm – and made it our home. Today, the farm is home to organically raised sheep and certified organic buckwheat, which is used to produce a wide range of natural products. At the farm shop (open daily), a selection of buckwheat-based items is available – including groats, flour, pasta, buckwheat hull pillows, and more.

Buckwheat Food Workshops: Get hands-on with buckwheat in one of our food workshops! You can learn how to make: raw buckwheat porridge, buckwheat pasta, pancakes from buckwheat flour. If you're interested in baking buckwheat bread, please plan for 4–6 hours. We recommend combining the bread-making with another activity at the farm – like a sauna visit or a training session.
Sauna: Our wood-heated sauna is located in the Sauna House and includes a cosy front room for relaxing and socialising. You can rent the sauna for your event.
Seminars & Gatherings: The Sauna House meeting room (35 m²) seats up to 20 people at tables (see table layout options on our website). In warmer seasons, you can also use the covered outdoor summer kitchen attached to the house – perfect for hosting slightly larger groups using both indoor and outdoor space. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks, or order catering from us.
Accommodation: Sleeping space for up to 13 people on the second floor of the Sauna House. Contact us to ask for an offer for organising an event, party or birthday.
Catering: We offer catering for groups upon request. You can find sample menus on our website or contact us to discuss a solution that fits your preferences.

FARM TOURS
We offer group tours of our working buckwheat farm. You’ll learn about everyday life at Tõrvaaugu Farm, our story, and how our buckwheat products are grown and made. You can also meet our organic sheep up close – feel free to pet them and feed them a little treat we provide. During your visit, we offer buckwheat tea and buckwheat cookies, and catering is available upon request.
