Rakvere Castle

When you arrive at the castle, you'll find yourself in a 16th-century castle theme park, where young and old alike can have a fascinating day out, transforming into knights and warriors, entertaining themselves and learning about life in the Middle Ages and the times of early Modern history.

There will also be a torture chamber, a mortuary and hell, a street of red lanterns, a medieval brothel, a barbershop and an alchemist's workshop open.

The Schenkenberg Tavern in the castle serves dishes based on medieval recipes!

The castle also hosts exhibitions and workshops characteristic to the era. Adventure and educational programmes are also on offer.
