Built in 1880, the Hellenurme Water Mill takes you back to the time of your ancestors.

When the guests arrive, the miller opens the mill turbine and the mill starts up, still powered by water. The great-grandfather of the hostess of the mill bought the machines in 1922, and the mill still produces meal flour, semolina and groats. Through the 4 floors of the mill, the visitor sees the whole milling process, from the cleaning of the grain to the finishing of the meal flour. The bakery is the venue for birthdays, seminars, performances, concerts and other events. Catering for groups (10-50 people).

The programme "From water to bread - flour making in the millhouse and bread making in the bakery" and the services "From woodwork to millwork - making a barrel, a cabbage club, a spoon or other traditional wooden objects, a tour of the mill" and "A tour of the mill" have been recognised with the EHE (Genuine and Interesting Estonia) quality label for ecotourism.
