Metsavenna Farm (Forest Brother's Farm)

Location: on the 38th km of the Võru-Valga Road in Mõniste, follow the signpost in the direction of Ape. We are located on the 6,2 km of the Mõniste-Ape Road.

In Metsavenna Farm, located on the Estonian-Latvian border, you will have a unique opportunity to search for  forest brothers from the hideout, stay in a bunker, listen to true stories, sing forest brothers' songs with the host and eat a forest brother's meal or a feast.

The bunker, furnished with fine logs of conifers, has been dug into the slope of a hill. There are bunk beds built in the bunker and there is a small table. One can get to the meager and ascetic interior with the help of a ladder and now also from a door built into the slope. Exactly in this kind of bunkers hundreds of brave, but at the same time unhappy men in the second half of the 40s and in the beginning of 50s lived the life of wolves that was forced on them.

Additional facilities:

• In the farm's new wing it is possible to book banquet tables for up to 60 people.
• A swinging area with a bunker stage, dance floor, dry toilets, facilities for hand washing, a campfire site and a pond.
• In the old stone sawmill (Guerilla Pub / Sissi Pubi) you can hold events with a larger group.
• A sauna with two heated rooms (wood-heated and electricity-heated) and a smoke sauna.
• In winter, the Forest Brother's Farm Bunker Hill (Punkrimägi) offers sledging fun. Both snowtubes and modern KHW sledges await you. The daily price includes the use of sledges, tubes and other equipment for descending the hill, including the use of a lift. In addition, an ice hockey rink with plastic borders and ski trails.
