Indigenous inhabitants (the Swedes) came here about 1000 years ago and left in 1943-1944, in the fear of the Russians. Today there are altogether 60 people living on the island all year round. The Island of Ruhnu is probably the most beautiful small island of Estonia.
This island was visited already 7000 years ago, but since 2000 it is also possible to spend holidays here. Fresh air, forest and the sea await visitors.
The Liise Farm is the winner of the award "Kodu kauniks" (Beautiful Home) in 2001.
There is a shop in the Farm and in the Harbour of Ruhnu there is a café.

Prices: Accommodation 20 €/person, sauna 4 €/person.
