Saaremaa Zoo invites visitors to discover the fascinating world of animals. The zoo is home to nearly 1,000 animals and birds from more than 60 different species – from exotic animals to adorable domestic ones. Every visitor is sure to find something surprising and exciting here.
Among the zoo’s residents you can meet wallabies, capybaras, donkeys, lemurs, tortoises, rabbits, peacocks, camels and Arctic foxes, as well as many other delightful characters. Meeting the animals offers both the joy of discovery and new knowledge for visitors of all ages.

The zoo began with Mirge and Risto’s dream of restoring their family’s old farmstead and sharing that journey on YouTube. The strong interest and support from people inspired them to open their farm to visitors and create the first zoo in Saaremaa, combining educational value with an enjoyable experience.
One of the zoo’s main goals is to provide animals with the best possible living conditions while sharing knowledge about nature and living in harmony with animals. For this purpose, the Nature House has been opened, where visitors can learn more about caring for nature and living in balance with the environment.

In summer, the café Part is open in the bird area of the Zoo, right by the duck pond. Here you can enjoy tasty meals surrounded by the feathered residents of the area – and you shouldn’t be surprised if some of them casually stroll past or even under your table.

Additional opportunities: Various birthday packages and venue rental are available on site. Workshops for groups offer the chance to learn about animals, their habitats and their habits.
