From rural roots to culinary destinations: watch the project BASCIL video

You can now watch a video introducing the project BASCIL and showcasing the project’s success story in supporting local food and beverage producers as they transition into food tourism service providers.

The project ran from 2023 to 2025 and brought together partners, entrepreneurs, and networks from eight Baltic Sea Region countries. The project results and manuals will continue to support food producers in entering the tourism sector and help destinations develop common regional culinary tourism products.

From Estonia, the project partners were Estonian Rural Tourism Organization and the Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce.
The Estonian pilot region was Jõgevamaa Flavours, and the pilot network was the Estonian Wine Trail.
