Pädaste Manor, a hidden gem on Muhu Island!
Pädaste Manor, situated at the edge of the Baltic Sea, dates back to the 15th century.
This small luxury resort and spa, provides exquisite accommodation of inspired diversity ranging from cosy rooms in the Carriage House to the grandeur of the Manor House. Rooms and suites are beautifully furnished, the beds topped by feather duvets under Estonian linen coverlets. Some rooms come with fireplaces to give an extra glow of warmth during colder days.
At dusk, the grounds of the estate are lit with oil-burning torches, while diners enjoy the evening in Alexander, one of Estonia’s finest gourmet restaurants. A simple lunch is served in a charming stone building beside the sea. It is an almost indescribable pleasure to settle into one of the wicker chairs, listen to the nightingales and sample such delicious dishes as Estonian mushroom soup, ravioli stuffed with goat cheese or a steamed turbot with snow peas.
The hotel’s principal amenity is a wonderful spa, which offers a variety of indigenous treatments, including “baths” in newly mown hay or a relaxing soak in a seawater hot tub.
The estate is a haven of peace with wonderful places to relax and dream, yet it also inspires to exercise and explorate.
